Omron Automatic Blood Pressure Monitor with IntelliSense Reviews
Two of the previous commentators have noted that their observers had not correctly read their blood pressure. I wonder if they have made the same mistake as I did with my first two readings. My first two readings were 20 points higher than normal! And then I read the instructions and made the air pump that should be on the same side as the palm of your hand. Tried a third time, taking care that I had the air pump in place. The next reading was normal. What a relief.
When I was looking for the monitor to get, I debated between the Omron HEM-780 and the second. For some reason, the HEM-780 sells more on Amazon. The benefits that I have seen, however, was a great arm, a so-called Comfit bracelet, and saves the last 90 readings, rather than the last 60th What sold me this device, however, is a characteristic that the HEM-780 is not – an indicator of irregular heartbeat (not mentioned in the description, but said in Amazon.com PDF of the owner’s manual for www.omronhealthcare. com). From 9 “-13″ arm cuff was good for me, I bought this device and is perfect for my needs. Omron Technology is the same for both units and the cuff of this device is more comfortable, there’s no need for Comfit bracelet. If you need a larger cuff (up to 17 “), buy the HEM-780. Otherwise, save your $ 12, the same technology, with the added bonus of measurement of the irregular heartbeat.
Being a nurse, I used all types of makes and models to control blood pressure, including the type of application. The poorest people are affected by instability connectors, hoses too short to reach between the patient and the device awkward to pack, the button air supply is too tight or too loose, electrical or child too short to be practical, so I was hesitant, skeptical and reluctant to pay so much. (This does not bother me how it works!)
Now that the automatic OMRON Comfort DLX Brassard has been in use for nearly a month, has shown that it is worth!
All cables / connections are many and stable. The reading is accurate and easy to obtain, even with one hand. It remains where it is located on the upper arm above the elbow, is comfortable and easy to fill the velcro closure. Memory allows a comparison over time and is a feature film.
I have not tried to use the battery, but that is my thumbs up!
